| The State of Florida offers a Multi-State Non-Resident CCW Permit. Florida Non- Resident CCW Permit applications are also available and the Utah Firearms safety training is recognized and fulfills the Florida instruction requirement. The Utah, Arizona & Florida permits do not require Range time or Registration/ Listing of any carried firearms. The application for a Florida permit requires a passport photo, a fingerprint card with the fingerprints rolled by a Law Enforcement Agency, proof of completion of a course of instruction which includes safe gun handling and administered by State Certified instructor or NRA Certified instructor. The Utah Course curriculum satisfies the course of instruction requirement in firearm safety. The Florida CCW permit fee is $117.00 which is valid for 7yrs. and renews for $107.00 for an additional 7 yrs. You can participate in the Utah CCW permit class and use a copy of the certificate of completion to submit with your Florida Application for proof of completion of the Firearms Safety training requirement. Passport photo can be provided but you will have to take the fingerprint card to a Law Enforcement Agency for fingerprinting.
